The Association for Dressings & Sauces (ADS) named its twelfth annual Package of the Year Award winner at its Annual Meeting held October 22 – 24 at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL.

John Marshall, Senior Packaging Engineer at Heinz North America, was present to accept the award. “Dip & Squeeze marks the most significant packaging innovation for the ketchup packet in more than 42 years, revolutionizing the way consumers enjoy Heinz Ketchup on the go,” says Marshall.

The Package of the Year Award is presented by ADS to increase the awareness of packaging in general and to celebrate the accomplishments of the packaging industry for dressing, sauce and condiment-related packages. Nominations for the award were received and ADS members cast their votes for the package deemed most innovative at the ADS 2011 Technical Meeting in Tampa, FL.
