Pat Vincent, president and chief operating officer of Arrowhead Systems (arrowheadsystems.com) announced the appointment of Ed Fuchs as the company’s vice president of sales and marketing.

Fuchs will oversee the strategic direction of Arrowhead Systems’ sales and marketing teams. His focus will be on broadening the exposure of the company’s brands which include Arrowhead Conveyor, NeXtconveyor, Busse/SJI, Priority One, A&B Engineering Services, and Trillium Automation. Fuchs will also lead the sales team in expanding the company’s domestic and international market share in conveyors, material handling equipment, and service.

Fuchs has spent his entire career in sales, marketing, and business development. He joined Arrowhead Systems after holding top-level management positions at System Logistics, Malisko Engineering, Pasco, and Ambitech. He also gained extensive material handling industry knowledge as the Director of Sales for Fleetwood/Goldco/Wyard. In addition to his sales and business development experience, Fuchs holds an engineering management degree from the University of Missouri-Rolla.

In addition, Vincent appoints Shawn Grant as the company’s vice president of business development and strategic accounts.

In Grant’s newly developed role, he will concentrate on enhancing relationships with top players in the company’s present markets and identify new industry opportunities. Currently Arrowhead Systems’ conveyors and material handling equipment can be found in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, household products, container manufacturing plants throughout the world; but there is growth potential in many markets.

Grant has been part of the Arrowhead Systems organization since 1995. He started his tenure as the Service Manager for the Busse/SJI product line and later became the Sales Manager of Strategic Accounts for Arrowhead Systems. His most recent responsibility was Vice President of Sales and Marketing in which he successfully increased the strengths and capabilities of his departments. Prior to joining the Arrowhead Systems organization, Grant developed his technical background through sales management positions at both the Dallas Corporation and Englewood Electric. He holds a business administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
