Shanghai World of Packaging sees 50% exhibitor increase
Exhibitor registrations for swop 2017, Shanghai World of Packaging, are going strong. Currently, the number of companies confirmed to exhibit rose by 50% compared to the last staging in 2015. An additional 1,000 exhibitors are expected to showcase their latest products, technology and services on 645,800 square feet. swop 2017 consists of three trade shows, offering a one-stop platform for processing and packaging solutions: PacPro Asia, FoodPex and BulkPex. The event will take place November 7-10, 2017, at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center (SNIEC) and is organized by Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai in cooperation with their long-time partner Adsale Exhibition Services and the China Center for Food & Drug International Exchange (CCFDIE).
As a member of interpack alliance, swop benefits from the worldwide network and expertise of interpack, the world’s leading processing and packaging trade fair. So far swop 2017 has received valuable support from domestic and overseas associations including FPE, UCIMA and VDMA. swop 2017 will present the entire value chain for processing and packaging industries: from the production of packaging materials and packaging (plastic, paper, glass, metal, etc.), packaging printing and respective processing technology at PacPro Asia 2017 and food processing and packaging technology at FoodPex 2017 to bulk and outer packaging and transportation at BulkPex 2017. Special features at swop 2017 will include the debut of the SAVE FOOD exhibit, the new “innovationparc” and “components” sections as well as 10 forums discussing packaging trends of the future.
