State Bird Seed Snack Line Launches in Resealabe Pouch
Render, a food company based in Healdsburg, Calif., just launched a snack line called State Bird Seed. A collaboration with award-winning chefs Stuart Brioza and Nicole Krasinski, owners of restaurants State Bird Provisions and The Progress in San Francisco, State Bird Seed is a crunchy mix of puffed quinoa, seeds, herbs and spices that can be enjoyed as a snack or crumbled as a topping on oatmeal and yogurt to salads and meat.
State Bird Seed is based on a dish Brioza and Krasinski make at their restaurants, and the restaurant staff found the mix so addictive they often ended up snacking by the handful. Organic, vegan, gluten-free and non-GMO, the snack is currently available in 3.5 oz. resealable pouches in Almond Rosemary, Sea Salt and Furikake. State Bird Seed is available in leading independent natural and specialty foods stores in Los Angeles including Bristol Farms, Erewhon, Jimbo's, and Rainbow Acres, and on Render's online store.
