Perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after the other.
This quote by Walter Elliot, a Scottish politician, got me thinking. Recently, I broke my wrist and hand and cracked some ribs — and the first thing I thought was, how am I going to work? I was only thinking about how I could perform my job.
