Brian Stepowany is Senior Manager Packaging Research & Development at B&G Foods where he leads the packaging team for all B&G departments. The Parsippany, NJ-based B&G Foods offers more than 50 brands, among them Back to Nature, Cream of Wheat, Ortega, Mrs. Dash, Clabber Girl, Durkee, and Green Giant. Brian works directly with internal and external suppliers and manufacturing facilities on current and new packaging projects as well as development of new packaging designs.
Before he joined B&G Foods, Brian was a Senior Consultant, Global Franchise Engineering at Johnson & Johnson/McNeil Consumer Healthcare; Packaging Development Manager at Bumble Bee Foods; and Senior Packaging Engineer at Kraft Foods. Brian’s education includes a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a member of numerous packaging associations and organizations, including the PMMI Packaging Management Council (PMC).
