Farrah joined the Diamondback Acres team in 2020 to pursue her passion with local farming. Prior to her joining the Agriculture industry, Farrah worked in the wine industry for 10 years after graduating from Washington University with a B.A. in Wine Business Management. Specializing in customer service and hospitatlity, she helped to expand wine sales and membership, and hosted two wine club tours in France. During the pandemic, Farrah wanted to get more hands-on with her local farming community, and found a new opportunity to join a local family farm in her small town Chelan, WA. She found herself amongst a humble, like-minded group of people who all share a passion for our planet and sustainability, wanting to pave the way for other businesses in their industry. While growing organically for over 30 years, it was time for the farm to take another leap towards success and longevity, and that next step is sustainable packaging. Farrah’s role at Diamondback Acres is to help the farm continue to achieve this long-term success using her innovative thinking, networking, and team accountability.
