Hugo Giorgio has held various roles with Sonoco over his 28 years in the industry including production manager, plant manager, and technical manager in US and Canadian facilities. Currently, Hugo is a technical manager based in Hickory, NC, responsible for trial and commercialization processes. Taking a non-traditional route to the packaging industry, Hugo holds an Arts & Science diploma from Humber College and a BA in Psychology from York University. In his spare time, Hugo enjoys spoiling his grandchildren, doing creative projects, and jamming with other musicians. With a passion for outdoor recreation, Hugo enjoys boating, hiking and animal life.
