Business professional with 15 years of experience in business and product development, branding and marketing. Irene Rojas Stanbury possesses a bachelor’s in business with a double major in Management and Marketing as well as a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Florida International University. In 2013, she also obtained a certificate Project Management from the University of Texas at Austin. Irene founded LEMONKIND in 2014 with a mission to make 100% natural beverages that are not only both delicious and better-for-you but also, accessible to anyone ready to build on beneficial, sustainable self-care. Irene is the sole owner of the company as she has managed to grow 100% YoY organically, reinvesting profits and managing overhead and resources as efficiently as possible while keeping innovation as her number one focus. In 2019 she was selected to be part of Coca-Cola’s VEB (Venture and Emerging Brands) Founders Forum class of 2020, comprised of a group of 12 hand-picked set of beverage — with a few food — entrepreneurs. When she is not chasing customers or trying to find the rarest most functional natural ingredients, this type-A Middle child can be found running down Manhattan’s westside highway or hiking to the top of a mountain somewhere in the world.
