Mitch Jacobsen is a former Petroleum Engineer turned beverage entrepreneur. After a good friend suffered a heart attack attributed to energy drinks, Mitch was inspired to create a healthy alternative to energy drinks with all natural ingredients and sustainable packaging. After two grueling years of research and development and hundreds of iterations, Mitch and his two business partners launched a natural energy drink in a custom designed flexible beverage pouch called Rviita Energy Tea. As of 2023, Rviita is carried in over 1000 retail locations across Canada and the US, including Walmart Canada. They recently finished constructing the first automated production line for spouted beverage pouches with a 22mm spout in Canada, and are working on expanding across the USA starting in 2024.
