MacDermid Graphic Solutions and Comexi have released the agenda for the upcoming “Improving Flexo Print Productivity” open house March 14-15 at MacDermid’s headquarters in Atlanta.

The two-day event will bring together industry-leading suppliers to discuss and present on productivity enhancements in flexographic printing. MacDermid and Comexi will give product demonstrations and technical presentations along with the event sponsors Apex, Esko and Lohmann.

As for the agenda, on Tuesday, March 14, guests will be welcomed at the MacDermid headquarters at 1 p.m. A tour of the facility will be given at 1:30 p.m. followed by a brief break. The session, “Productivity from a Plate Manufacturer’s Point of View” will be given at 3 p.m. by Ryan Vest, global director of innovation at MacDermid. At 3:45 p.m., Comexi’s U.S. corporate sales director Miquel Salva will present a session on the latest technologies for flexo presses. A dinner and networking event will be held at 7 p.m.

On Wednesday, March 15, a breakfast will be held at 8:30 a.m. followed by the session “Expanded Gamut 2017: A Technology Update” presented by Mark Samworth, Esko’s color product specialist. Aaron Lessing, sales director for flexo North America at Apex International, will present the “Enhanced Flexo Productivity Through Consistent Ink Transfer” at 9:40 a.m. followed by a brief break at 10:15 a.m. The “Get Even More Out of Flexo: Tapes and Productivity” session will start at 10:30 a.m. and will be presented by Lohmann’s Adina Oree and Todd Court. At 11:05 a.m, Rory Marsoun, vice president of business development for flexo at Esko, will present “Driving Efficiencies in the Plate Room.” Closing remarks and a Q&A will begin at 11:45 a.m. followed by a lunch.
