Roll-2-Roll (R2R) Technologies LLC has introduced two new lines of narrow web guiding systems: the Low Profile Narrow Web Displacement Guides, which are offered in height profiles of 3.5 and 4.5 inches, and the Narrow Web Steering Guide. Each is powered by R2R’s ARIS Web Position Sensors, which allow converters to handle any material without the need of time costly calibration or adjustments.

The company’s Low Profile Narrow Web Displacement Guides permit converters with a web guiding system that can fit into tight spaces within converting lines. They’re designed to guide webs up to 20 inches wide. The Narrow Web Steering Guide can also guide web materials with widths up to 20 inches and is ideal for applications where a displacement guide cannot be used, especially after a long entry span.
