Polymer Protective Packaging Touts Spunbond Pouches as an Ideal Way to Ship Products

June 21, 2018

When a company ships merchandise, it expects products to arrive in the same condition as they were sent. Polymer Protective Packaging offers shipping pouches made of spunbond polypropylene, which is an excellent option for packaging and protecting shipped products.

“Spunbond polypropylene is a non-woven fabric made from fine continuous filaments of polypropylene that are bonded together using a heat process,” says Cameron Zaldivar, inside sales manager, Polymer Protective Packaging. “Spunbond polypropylene pouches offer a safe, economical way to package painted parts.”

Spunbond pouches possess the following characteristics:

  • Very low abrasion, making it a great choice for packaging parts with high scuff sensitivity.
  • Extremely durable and flexible.
  • Their unique structure promotes maximum air flow, allowing for off-gassing and the prevention of condensation buildup.
  • Not harmful to the environment. It does not contain or emit any harmful chemicals, nor is it produced using any. These pouches are also reusable, eliminating waste.
