TC Transcontinental Joins New Plastics Economy Global Commitment
TC Transcontinental is the first Canadian manufacturer to join the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s New Plastics Economy Global Commitment.
By 2025, the company has pledged to make 100 percent of its plastic packaging reusable, recyclable or compostable and to achieve a 10 percent use of post-consumer recycled content on average by weight across all plastics in its product basket. Additionally, TC Transcontinental commits to collaborating toward increasing reuse, recycling and composting rates for plastic in the communities where it operates.
