For the fourth consecutive year, Bemis North America (Bemis.com) has been honored with the Spirit of Excellence Award by Hormel Foods Corporation. Recipients of the award are recognized for their roles in Hormel’s continuous improvement process throughout the year.

As one of the few suppliers to receive this prestigious honor, Bemis was selected based on demonstrating continuous innovation; providing a high level of service to meet stringent package performance requirements; achieving on-time deliveries and rush orders; and providing high-level technical, R&D and administrative support.

Bemis supplies Hormel with widespread brand packaging solutions for Hormel’s food and meat products. In 2013, Bemis provided market-leading support for products such as Hormel® REV® Wraps, Compleats®, MVP Snack Kits, Wholly Guacamole® Mini Cups and Fire Braised™ Ribs.

Officials from Hormel Foods traveled to Menasha, Wisconsin on Tuesday, May 13 to officially present the award to Jim Ransom, president of Bemis North America.
