LaserSharp FlexPak Services (flexpakservices) opened its doors at its new satellite office in Miami, FL recently.  In partnership with Karlville Development in Miami, FL, FlexPak is excited to be the first satellite location from its headquarters in Minneapolis, MN. FlexPak is part of a great incubation program Karlville has started in their Miami facility.

The incubation program is a strategic approach for new and expanding innovative businesses in South Florida, where Karlville assists these companies in their growing process. FlexPak-Miami specializes in Package development using laser technology. The Laser System is retrofit onto a 55” slitter rewinder from Karlville Development and will be used to demonstrate the technology and to do contract laser manufacturing in house. Some of the capabilities of this integrated system include slitting Master rolls into finished web while Laser Micro and/or Macro Perforating for breathable packaging and laser scoring in both Machine and Cross web direction for easy to open packages.

In March this year, FlexPak was honored during a key ceremony and given the Key to the City of Miami-Dade County. This was a great welcoming to the South Florida area.
