The entries of the Flexible Packaging Association’s 57th annual Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards feature innovative enhancements focusing on consumer-convenience, design and graphics, barrier performance and structure, and sustainability. Within this issue of the FPA Update, FPA is pleased to present the 2013 FPA Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards Innovation Showcase. Following are photos of all the 2013 competition entries, which are presented in alphabetical order by package name. The names of the packages’ manufacturers are also provided.

In all, 78 flexible packages were submitted into the 2013 competition. Of those, 25 packages will be honored with 29 FPA Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards within one or more categories including Packaging Excellence, Printing Achievement, Technical Innovation, and Environmental & Sustainability Achievement. The winning entries will be announced on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 during the 2013 FPA Welcome Dinner & Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards Ceremony. The event will be held in conjunction with the 2013 FPA Annual Meeting (February 26-28, 2013) at The Ritz Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Florida.
