The Novacote SF-739/CA-376 is a cold applied solvent free adhesive that adheres to a wide variety of substrates (film/film as well as film/ALU), is fast to be free of primary aromatic amines, has an extremely low risk of anti-seal, and is intrinsically very low in cyclic polyester oligomers (as demonstrated by extensive extraction studies). In addition to its excellent regulatory compliance, its fast physical cure and excellent resistance properties make it ideal for stand up pouches. It has been demonstrated to run at high line speeds, which improves on the already impressive economics of solvent free laminating adhesives. This adhesive system is a globally available product, with production on two continents, with the possibility for production on two more.
