Glassteel coatings offer a unique combination of wear resistance, durability and release and have outperformed chrome, ceramic and other metallic coatings. The Glassteel coating can be machined to a wide range of Ra finishes and are used in multiple converting processes including coating, laminating and web guiding. Glassteel idler rolls also have unique thermal properties that allow them to be heated or cooled in the event web temperature control is important. The uniform, smooth surface of Glassteel is easily cleaned and prevents web build-up.
