Industry Support Drives Education as PMMI Education & Training Foundation Golf Tournament Sells Out

- PACK EXPO Las Vegas exhibitors, attendees fill all available player and sponsorship openings
The 2013 edition of the PMMI Education & Training Foundation Golf Tournament has sold out, according to PACK EXPO Las Vegas owner and producer PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies.
The Sept. 22 event, held at the Royal Links Golf Course, brings PACK EXPO exhibitors and attendees together to support PMMI education initiatives during a scramble-style golf tournament. Proceeds support student scholarships and continuing education for packaging and processing professionals. Since 1990, PMMI has raised more than $2.5 million in support of packaging and processing education.
“This tournament supports our mission to further the packaging and processing industry by investing in our students and workforce development,” says Maria Ferrante, vice president of education and workforce development at PMMI. “The Education & Training Foundation funds initiatives for growing interest around our industry, encouraging student engagement, and advancing the skills of current employees.”
