2014 FPA Flexible Packaging Achievement Award recipients

The Flexible Packaging Association is now accepting entries for the 2015 FPA Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards competition. The one page entry form has been simplified, streamlined and consolidated to be more user-friendly and retains the same criteria attributes for evaluating packaging excellence, technical innovation, printing and shelf impact, and sustainability.  An overview of the competition, rules, entry instructions and fees can be found on www.flexpack.org.  The entry deadline is Monday, November 17, 2014.

The competition is open to flexible packaging converters (FPA members and non-members). FPA member suppliers that have contributed to a package and have received approval from the converter may enter jointly with, or on behalf of, the converter. 

The annual competition recognizes and honors industry advancements in innovation and technology that are meeting the packaging challenges of today and delivering innovative flexible packaging solutions for a multitude of products.  All entries are judged by an independent panel of experts.  The Highest Achievement Award will be given to a Gold Award winner ranked by the judges as having contributed most to the advancement of the industry. 

Winning entries of the 59th annual Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards competition will be announced on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 during the 2015 FPA Annual Meeting (March 3-5, 2015) at the Ritz Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Florida.

All competition entries and winning packages are featured in the printed and electronic online FPA Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards & Innovation Showcase, which includes photos and package descriptions, and provides details about package manufacturers, end-users/customers, designers, and key suppliers.

Winning entries are included in a number of industry trade publications including Flexible Packaging Magazine, Packaging Digest and Packaging World, as well as online press coverage to audiences in the U.S. and internationally.
