The award honors outstanding print results for packaging products. The DFTA jury evaluates the submitted print samples and defines the winners for a total of nine different categories. Criteria for judging include print quality, innovation, complexity and environmental aspects, amongst others. 

 

Flint Group, as one of the sponsors of the DFTA award, congratulates all winners of this friendly and professional competition.

During the awards ceremony that took place on March 4 in Böblingen, Germany, the majority of winning samples was printed with inks from Flint Group. The flexible packaging categories benefited from the use of Flint Group’s FlexiLam CF/1, which has recently received full HD flexo certification by Esko. Panther Print GmbH made use of an ink series out of Flint Group’s Premo Range of water-based printing products when creating the print sample. The result speaks for itself: Panther Print GmbH was awarded first prize in the category “Corrugated pre-print” for their print sample.
