Davis-Standard has announced the acquisition of Massachusetts-based blown film company Gloucester Engineering - a purchase designed to strengthen Davis-Standard’s blown film offerings by adding experienced design and process engineering capabilities, a large installed base and greater aftermarket capabilities. Gloucester has been a respected brand name and innovator for more than 50 years and the acquisition allows customers of each company to access the industry’s premiere blown film technology under one roof.
