ProAmpac was honored with the 2015 Hormel Spirit of Excellence Award during an award ceremony held on May 31 at ProAmpac’s Terrebonne, Quebec, facility.

According to Hormel Foods, the Hormel Spirit of Excellence Award is given to suppliers that maintain a minimum supplier rating index score of 92 throughout a 12-month period. This score is determined by a universal measurement system that began in 1990 to ensure each supplier is held to the same standards. During the celebrations, Hormel Foods corporate buyer Josh Becker presented ProAmpac CEO Greg Tucker with a commemorative plaque and letter.

“The Hormel Foods Spirit of Excellence Award program recognizes the suppliers that truly go above and beyond in helping us continually improve our products and services,” says Tyler Hulsebus, director of purchasing at Hormel Foods. “We’re honored to partner with these outstanding suppliers.”

These standup pouches range from single-use to reclosable multiple-use pouches and are offered in a variety of reclose styles. PRO-POUCH utilizes ProAmpac's adhesive and extrusion lamination technologies, which are designed to protect the product and enhance shelf appeal.
