Nordmeccanica and Hydro Aluminium Rolled Products held a joint technical conference focused on thin foil lamination at high production speeds from February 23-24 at Nordmeccanica’s corporate headquarters in Piacenza, Italy.

The Flexographic Technical Association has selected MacDermid Graphic Solution’s LUX In-The-Plate technology, a flat-top dot platform, as the recipient of a 2016 Technical Innovation Award.

Flint Group Flexographic Products has received a 2016 FTA Technical Innovation Award for its nyloflex FTF Digital plate. Company officials say the plate offers printers and tradeshops "the easy way" to achieve  flat top dots and a micro-textured surface without the need for additional processing steps or digital surface screening.
