The crowds of attendees and the clamor of working equipment that filled the giant exhibit halls at NPE2015 told the story better than numbers, but now there are statistics to make it official: NPE2015 was the largest show in NPE history.

Apex has made the strategic decision to drop “Group of Companies” from its name. Moving forward, the organization will be known both internally and externally as Apex International.

Acknowledging over 30 years of achievements in the ink industry, the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM) bestowed a Printing Ink Pioneer Award to INX International Ink Co. executive Jim Bailen at its Centennial Convention’s awards and black tie dinner, held March 23 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

 

 Procter & Gamble Co. (NYSE:PG) has joined the Flexible Film Recycling Group (FFRG), according to an announcement from the American Chemistry Council (ACC). The FFRG is a self-funded group and division of the ACC that is driving unprecedented growth in the recovery of flexible polyethylene (PE) film, wraps and bags.
