TC Transcontinental Packaging won the Gold for Sustainability (for a second year in a row), Gold for Packaging Excellence and Silver for Technical Innovation at the recent Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards.

Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee has selected Amgraph Packaging, Inc., of Baltic, Connecticut, as its 2018 Supplier of the Year. Amgraph is the first American supplier to receive the distinction and the first tea packaging supplier to be recognized.

Sun Centre USA has moved to its new U.S. headquarters in Crystal Lake, Illinois. The new facility provides expanded space for corporate offices as well as 10,000 square feet for the company’s new Technology Center.

Bemis was honored with the Highest Achievement Award and six additional Gold and Silver awards by the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) for three products. The winning entries are Molson Coors 12 Pack Cooler Bag featuring portable convenience, ConAgra Slim Jim Premium Smoked Sticks featuring textured film technology, and JBS-Swift Printed Ovenable Meat Packaging (OvenRite) featuring oven-safe technology.

Hot on the heels of the second-annual Converters Expo South, which was held on February 5 in Charlotte, North Carolina, comes the flagship Converters Expo. Now entering its 12th year, the event returns to Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, from March 27-28.
