A 2021 GlobalData survey found that two-thirds of global consumers said they find refillable/reusable an important factor in a product. 

The entire packaging industry is gradually moving toward flexible packaging, owing to its increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Tailored has partnered with Bluesource — to support verified urban forestry, sustainable forest management and rural cookstove programs that are designed to reduce or prevent greenhouse gases from entering the atmosphere, and TerraCycle — to transform its packaging into recyclable materials.

 Toshiba's ongoing eco efforts include recycling 64.46 tons of used toner cartridges and replanting nearly 19,000 trees worldwide in 2021. 

Northstar Clean Technologies Inc., a clean technology company focused on the sustainable recovery and reprocessing of asphalt shingles, has developed a proprietary design process for taking discarded asphalt shingles and extracting the liquid asphalt, aggregate and fiber for usage in new hot mix asphalt, construction products and other industrial applications. 

The ocean-bound plastic is converted using advanced recycling into an alternative feedstock, which is used to produce certified circular polymers for further processing to flexible packaging film.

The starter kit includes one reusable dish soap bottle and one dish soap refill pouch.

With digital’s share of the printed label and packaging market set to almost double by 2026 and inkjet leading this growth, the potential for water-based digital inkjet technology is substantial.

So, the flexible packaging segment is at an inflection point with recycled content. The good news is that more investments are being made into municipal recycling in the U.S.; more than $1 billion in investments was made before U.S. infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 was passed late last year.
