Innovative closures manufacturer Silgan Closures has hired Anant Deshpande as its manager of Continuous Improvement.

Based at the company’s Downers Grove headquarters in Illinois, Deshpande will be responsible for implementing the company’s Continuous Improvement initiative and for the development of lean training materials specific to Silgan Closures. He will also lead the Continuous Improvement Steering Committee, and develop and monitor the initiative’s plan, while implementing defined OPEX actions across the organization.

Prior to joining Silgan Closures, Deshpande was a manager at Jabil Packaging Systems.
