Eerbeek, Netherlands-based DG Press has signed a cooperation agreement with Edwardsville, Illinois-based Total Optimum Production to improve service for large VSOP owners in the United States.

“We are (happy) with this agreement because DG Press is able to offer a wider range of solutions to the large VSOP installed base in the USA,” says Remko Koolbergen, managing director at DG Press. “With this agreement, we improve our service capabilities in the USA even more.”

DG Press employs 50 people and is responsible for servicing, upgrading and building Drent-Goebel web presses. The company also has an agreement with Goss International for developing and building the Thallo, a new-generation offset press for flexible packaging.

“This agreement shows that we are a serious business partner in the USA for web offset presses and the packaging industry as a whole,” says Bob Gielingh, owner of Total Optimum Production. “This cooperation will improve the knowledge base for the VSOP and, therefore, will be an improvement for the U.S. market.”
