Following the completion of CCL Industries’ acquisition of the Innovia Group of companies on the Feb. 28, it was announced that Wayne Middleton would assume the position of managing director of Innovia Films UK.

Middleton, 48, has worked for the company for 26 years, holding progressively important roles. Most recently, he served as global leader for new product and market development, and market leader for labels. During this time, he has developed a deep understanding of the company’s capabilities, customers, organization and employees.

In his new role, he will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, the profit and loss for the site, and market penetration and growth of new products.

“I am very pleased to be recognized in this way and look forward to taking the business forward with the support of a very talented team and a committed workforce,” Middleton says.
