Flint Group has named Pablo Steenwinkel as technical director of flexible packaging for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Steenwinkel, who earned his doctorate in organometallic chemistry and catalysis from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands, will join the company on May 1 from Avery Dennison, where he is the R&D director for Europe and a member of its European leadership team. He has a strong background in organic and inorganic chemistry, with a focus on polymer chemistry related to inks, coatings and adhesives.
