MacDermid Graphics Solutions Names New Senior VP, General Manager
MacDermid Graphics Solutions has appointed Melanie Galloway as its senior vice president and general manager. The move is effective immediately.
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Galloway is responsible for the global Graphics Solutions business and charged with leading the organization to continued success, providing innovative technology like LUX flat-top dots which enable flexo printers to increase print quality, improve print consistency and, at the same time, print more efficiently and reduce waste. With over 20 years of global commercial leadership and senior management experience, Galloway brings a wealth of knowledge to both MacDermid Graphics (MGS) and Performance Solutions (MPS).
Prior to joining MGS, Galloway began her career with FMC Corporation working for eight years in commercial and management roles. She then spent 12 years with Kemin Industries, a specialty chemicals manufacturer, in a series of senior management roles with increasing responsibilities. Galloway also held the position of CEO for Universal Cold Storage and Pasteurization, a service company headquartered in Atlanta, offering high pressure processing and cold storage services for the food industry. Most recently, Melanie was the global director of marketing and strategy for J.M. Huber Corporation based in Atlanta.

Galloway earned a Master of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Pulp and Paper Technology from North Carolina State University.
