ProAmpac Appoints New President of Extrusion and Laminations Division

August 30, 2017

ProAmpac has named Tom Loewald as its new president of the extrusion and laminations division.

Loewald most recently served as senior vice president and chief commercial officer at Thermo Fisher Scientific after leading businesses over a 15-year career with the company. In his CCO role, Tom designed and led the company’s commercial strategy and enterprise-spanning commercial resources, which included a corporate accounts team with $4.4 billion in sales, an e-commerce organization with $4 billion in sales and two standalone service divisions with combined sales of $1.6 billion. In his new position, Loewald will lead ProAmpac’s largest division.

“With his track record of market share gain, industry leadership and consistent financial returns for all stakeholders, Tom significantly enhances our senior management team. The extrusion and laminations division will benefit greatly from Tom’s experience and focus on building high performing organizations that are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for employees, while delivering the industry's best quality and service to our customers,” says ProAmpac CEO Greg Tucker.

Loewald adds, “I am excited to join the ProAmpac team. ProAmpac's values are completely aligned with how I think about team performance and team success, and I greatly look forward to fulfilling our opportunity to be the world's best flexible packaging company.”
