According to a September 7, 2017, report in Bloomberg, Amcor is considering making an offer to acquire Bemis, a move that would help make Amcor one of the largest converters in the world.

Per the report, details are mum and things are still in the very early stages.

In Flexible Packaging’s annual Top 25 Converters report, Bemis posted North American revenue of about $4 billion, good for No. 1 on the list. Amcor came in at No. 11, with flexible packaging sales numbers of more than $600 million in North America.
