American Packaging Corporation has named Jeff Koch as its new president. Koch takes over for Peter Schottland, who will remain as the company’s CEO and transition into co-chairman of American Packaging Corporation’s Board of Directors with his brother Steve Schottland.
Koch has served the flexible packaging industry for 37 years, and has progressed from press operator to executive vice president during his time at American Packaging Corporation. His appointment as company president became effective February 1.
“Jeff is a proven leader and will be instrumental in the sustained growth, the motivation of people, and the strategic thinking required for continued success of both our customers and our business” says Peter Schottland.
Adds Koch: “American Packaging is a very diversified company serving many markets. With aspirations of doubling in size over the next decade, the owners are committed to investing in the latest technologies to arm our team members with the best equipment available today. I look forward to working closely with APC’s sales, technical, operations and executive team to ensure these growth goals are being met”
In conjunction with the executive transitions, the board of directors approved the move of the company’s corporate headquarters from Rochester, New York, to Columbus, Wisconsin. The move will bring its executive team closer to its largest operations and Packaging Innovation Center facility. The two manufacturing plants in New York will be unaffected by the move.
