Magnum Announces Appointments to its Inks & Coatings, Tapes & Films Divisions
Magnum Manufacturing has appointed Eric Cathie as its new technical director for its Inks & Coatings division and David Hagen as its new director of sales for its Tapes & Films division.
Cathie brings 17 years of industry experience ranging from ink formulation to application technology. His areas of expertise include flexography, offset lithography, specialty ink formulation, UV/LED formulation and flexible packaging applications.
“I am excited to join the Magnum team,” says Cathie. “Magnum Inks & Coatings has a focused, customer service-oriented business model that is well aligned with the values I embrace. I am confident that my background will complement MIC’s strategic objectives as we venture into new and exciting markets.”
Cathie adds to the expertise on staff that includes highly technical competencies and full laboratory capabilities. His addition also adds to lab capacity for engineering custom solutions and product development.
“We welcome Eric to our team,” says Mark DeSandre, director of business development and general manager of Magnum Inks & Coatings. “He brings formulating expertise along with the willingness to provide hands-on support press-side. Eric and our team are already working on a number of exciting innovations that will benefit our customers.”
Hagen brings nearly 25 years of experience in industrial tape sales, including senior sales leadership. He adds expertise in several areas of pressure sensitive tape applications.
“I am excited to join the Magnum Tapes & Films team,” he says. “So much groundwork has been successfully worked on by many people at Magnum. It is great to be a part of this fast growing group.”
Hagen leads a team of technical sales professionals working with prospects and customers to qualify and use Magnum’s rubber and acrylic lines of high-quality pressure sensitive adhesive tapes and PSA vinyl films.
