FPA Update

Enter the Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards by November 19th Deadline

October 2, 2018

The deadline to enter the 2019 Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards Competition is November 19, 2018.

The competition is open to FPA Members. Non-members may only enter a package if they have not participated in past competitions. FPA supplier members that have contributed to a package and received approval from the converter may enter jointly with, or on behalf of, the converter.

FPA will honor the winners during the Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards Dinner on March 6, 2019. Held in conjunction with the FPA 2019 Annual Meeting (March 6-8), the Achievement Awards Dinner will gather prominent flexible packaging converters and suppliers together to celebrate the winning advancements of the flexible packaging industry.

The competition gives awards in several categories including Expanding the Use of Flexible Packaging; Technical Innovation; Printing and Shelf Impact; Packaging Excellence; and Sustainability. The competition looks for innovation in new technologies, processing, printing techniques, and the sustainability of flexible packaging. It highlights what differentiates flexible packaging from other packaging formats to provide extraordinary packaging solutions.

The Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards Call for Entries provides an overview of the Achievement Awards program, the competition rules, including eligibility requirements and entry fees, complete instructions on how to enter, and the official entry form that must be submitted to FPA. The Call for Entries is available on the FPA website, www.flexpack.org.
