New SC-DFK Modules From Sun Centre USA
The new SC-DFK from Sun Centre USA is a double flying knife module that efficiently removes press brake sections of unwanted film during pouch production. The mobile module is designed to easily roll and lock into position at the end of any pouch machine and sync with the machine indirectly without any electrical interface.
When removing a press brake section, pneumatic clamps secure both sides and the middle of the film’s press brake section. A cutting mandrel with dual razor blades then quickly slides between the clamps to cut and remove the targeted film section. The razor blades are easy to change and readily available as off-the-shelf products.
Operating speeds are up to 120 fpm using 220V single-phase power. SC-DFK modules are available to fit all pouch machine production widths, including 450, 650, 800 and 1200 mm.
