Further to their announcement in November 2015, Mondi Group (mondigroup.com) has confirmed that all conditions have been satisfied and that the acquisition of KSP, Co. has been completed.

The acquisition of KSP, Co. underpins Mondi’s strategy to expand in high value-added products in its Consumer Goods Packaging business and marks a unique opportunity for Mondi to become a global key player in stand-up pouches. “Mondi KSP’s product portfolio is very attractive: its high-quality pouches are a perfect fit with our existing stand-up-pouch business in Korneuburg, Austria, and Jackson, USA, and will enable us to better serve our customers in the USA and Asia”, says Peter J. Oswald, CEO Mondi Europe and International.
