Food Safety Summit Resource Center Returns for PACK EXPO Las Vegas in 2013
PMMI, owner and producer of the PACK EXPO trade shows, is excited to announce it will team with B-to-B media company BNP Media to bring the latest iteration of the Food Safety Summit Resource Center to PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2013 on Sept. 23-25, 2013 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas.
The Food Safety Summit Resource Center, a PACK EXPO constant since 2010, brings together Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) who can speak to the regulations and implementation of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) as well as other important food safety issues including Food Packaging, HACCP, Economic Fraud, Safety and Regulations for Allergens, Labeling, Pest Control, Sanitation and Traceability. It’s a place for practical advice and insight, and this year, it’s arriving at a particularly critical time, says Charles D. Yuska, president & CEO, PMMI.
“FSMA has headed into a new phase. Rules have been proposed and we’re now in a period of public comment,” Yuska says. “I expect PACK EXPO exhibitors and attendees will have a lot to talk about in terms of food safety. The subject matter experts BNP brings to the Food Safety Summit Resource Center will be immensely helpful.”
BNP Media, producer of the annual Food Safety Summit, and PMMI will jointly promote the Food Safety Summit Resource Center.
