Sun Chemical will be a sponsor and the ink supplier of choice at “Uteco Print Technology 2013,” an open house showcasing Uteco’s live demonstration of its Onyx HP 108 flexographic printer in its Kennesaw, Ga. facility. 

 

Held on November 6-7, Uteco will start the open house with a presentation at 10:30 a.m., followed by a press demonstration using Sun Chemical SunStrato Sunesterpackaging lamination printing inks.

 

Created specifically for printing on treated, coated, and polyvinylidene chloride coated polyester films, SunStrato Sunester inks are nitrocellulose-based, giving the bond performance and high color strength desired by printers without the concerns of a urethane-based system. 

 

Frequently used on pouches, dry food packaging, cooked food packaging and confectionary packaging, SunStrato Sunester inks are also formulated to ensure low solvent retentions in order to eliminate concerns for odor or migration.
