2013 has been a very positive year for Macchi, topped by the success achieved during the K Show in Düsseldorf, where its 5 layers POD technology has been widely recognized as the new extrusion technology here to stay.

 

During last year, Macchi has also not spared any effort to increase its presence on the Chinese market, and the results have come to support this strategic decision: machines and complete lines have been sold and will be delivered during the year of the Horse to a number of Customers all over the “Middle Kingdom”.

 

Thus, company officials say 2014 is going to see an even stronger company engagement: during the Shanghai ChinaPlas (April 23 to 26, 2014, booth E2E61), Macchi will unveil a more complex strategy which includes the set up of Macchi’s representative office in Shanghai, where a Chinese technologist, who boasts more than 20 years of experience in blown film extrusion using both Chinese and Western machinery, will be available to provide timely technical advice and after sale services to the local customers.

 

On display in the Macchi booth there will be the last release of the extremely successful Recotrim, the patented Macchi solution to reclaim in line, without any additional labor requirement, all processing trims and extrusion film scraps simply and efficiently.

 

A market bestseller, the unit on display will be delivered (second in a row) to a Chinese customer immediately after the end of the show.
