Provident Groups Brings On New Technical Sales Representative
The appointment of Randy Carter as technical sales representative for The Provident Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Anderson & Vreeland, Inc. and manufacturer and distributor of doctor blades, end seals and innovative solutions for the printing industry, has been announced by Andrew Gillis, general manager for The Provident Group.
"Randy’s knowledge and experience, coupled with Provident’s expanded product line and winning solutions for the pressroom, are a real benefit for our customers," says Gillis. "Randy is widely respected and we are very fortunate to now have him on our team."
Carter will provide technical sales and service support, including introducing new, innovative solutions and technologies to Provident’s customers throughout the southeastern United States. He brings to his new position extensive flexographic knowledge and experience having worked in the flexo industry for the last 18-plus years.
Carter most recently served as a technologies specialist for Anderson & Vreeland, where he assisted customers with technical support for software, digital plates, color management and print. He has strong skills in troubleshooting ink, plate, and equipment issues and experience in managing press characterization, plate and color standards.
