FPA Plans 2015 Environmental Summit and Conference

Mark your calendars, registration is now open.

The Flexible Packaging Association Technical and Regulatory Committee has developed a powerful agenda for its Environmental Summit and Safety Conference to be held January 28-30, 2015 at the Tradewinds Resort, St. Petersburg Beach, FL.

The agenda, under development is expected to include the Regulatory Issues Update and OSHA/EPA priorities; 2015 revisions to Electrical Compliance Code 70E; Noise level monitoring and compliance; OSHA’s push for Combustible Dust Rule; Developing, Implementing & Auditing Safety Programs; Complying with GHS Rule with emphasis on labelling requirements; Applicability of OSHA’s Process Safety Management to flexible packaging operations; Understanding & Managing the permitting Impact of EPA’s Environmental Justice Program; Designing an Employee Education program for environmental compliance; Managing exposure to non-compliance.  

Environmental, Health and Safety professionals and managers, at both corporate and plant levels, are the key audience in attendance. This forum provides regulatory updates and compliance guidance, and networking opportunities among industry professionals and regulators. Presentations during the 2015 Summit will be provided by industry professionals, and U.S. EPA and U.S. OSHA representatives and are aimed at providing real take-home value for attendees.
