In 2013 there were 15 domestic transactions completed versus 19 the previous year. This represents a solid surge in merger and acquisition activity from the level of 8 recorded in both 2008 and 2009. However, this level was still down somewhat from the high of 21 recorded in 2007, and just below the 18 in 2005 and the 16 recorded in 2010. In addition, 2013 was well below the record level of 24 in 1999, as well as the level of 22 recorded in 1998.This publication is available to FPA membership in the “members only” section of the FPA website, www.flexpack.org.  It is available to non-members for $3500.
