Comexi Group Appoints Jeroen van der Meer as New Managing Director
Comexi Group announces the appointment of Jeroen van der Meer as its new managing director. He has over 15 years of experience in flexible packaging and machine engineering.
He will be responsible for leading the company’s worldwide growth, which complies with the corporate strategic plan of the group by providing high added value solutions that meet the high standards and demands of the flexible packaging industry.
Van der Meer will oversee both engineering and sales, as well as product development (Technological Centre), marketing and industrial construction for Comexi Group and its subsidiaries worldwide. As commented by Manel Xifra, Comexi Group president, the appointment of Jeroen van der Meer allows the company to continue the process of professionalization of its executive team.
Comexi Group strategy is to provide technological solutions for the printing and converting industry, driven by new and sustainable innovations. The family company with its headquarters based in Girona, Catalonia (Spain) - under the new leadership – will expand and supply solutions and services worldwide. Comexi Group has installed bases in over 100 countries.

Holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering from HZ University of Applied Sciences (Vlissingen, The Netherlands) and Business Administration from Eindhoven University of Technology, Jeroen van der Meer previously served as Managing Director for BU Engineered Films at Clondalkin Group and as Managing Director at Clondalkin-Flexoplast. He has also held various positions of responsibility at Fuji Seal Europe and Philips PMF International.
