ASHE Converting Equipment is pleased to announce the appointment of two new sales executives.

Mark Obeney has joined the company’s UK operation to promote the successful range of narrow web machines, predominantly for the self adhesive label industry. Obeney has a wealth of experience in the labelling sector, having previously worked for suppliers to the labelling industry.

Since the launch of the new patented Opal Glueless turret, ASHE has seen significant interest and orders for the technology. The concept of a tool free change when changing core sizes has given the market a significant cost saving on machine downtime, aswell as the cut and transfer, which is achieved at speed without any glue or tape.

Joseph Cervera joins the company's team in the U.S. Cervera has previously worked in the flexible packaging area for a major supplier of bag making machinery, and will be working closely with our colleagues in Vermont, for the Mid West and west coast regions of the USA. Joseph will be focused on selling the wide web range of machinery for the respective areas.

The company's range of duplex and duplex turret centre winders has seen huge growth in the U.S., due to the advancements made by the company in winding and tension technology. Both appointments are part of an ongoing plan for the company’s significant expansion plans and tie in with new machine developments in all slitting and rewinding areas.
