Shurtape has expanded its offering of double-coated tapes with DP 380, a double-coated polyester film tape for use in permanent bonding applications. An easy-to-use, general-purpose tape, DP 380 is a clear, double-sided product for mounting and splicing tasks including mounting emblems, nameplates, banners, light signs and window blinds.

The tape, which features an acrylic adhesive and white, poly-coated liner, is hand-tearable and highly conformable, even to irregular surfaces. The company says it also offers excellent moisture resistance in high-humidity environments. DP 380 is suitable for applications where high shear and adhesion are necessary, including low-surface energy substrates. It can also be used where permanent bonding or attachment is required, such as POP displays and laminating materials.
