Flxon Promotes Executive
Flxon Inc., exclusive provider of premium SWEDCUT brand doctor blades, promotes Mike Waddell to the position of Area 04 business development manager for the Central United States and the Canadian province of Manitoba.
With over 20 years of success serving the flexographic, rotogravure, and corrugated industries, Waddell joined Flxon in 2013 as customer support manager.
In this new position, Waddell will work closely with pressrooms to help them identify and eliminate process related waste.
“I’m excited to continue working with printers to help them implement changes that can have a big impact on profitability," says Waddell. He went on to say he likes the fact that Flxon’s market approach is very low key which is compatible with his own.
President Paul Sharkey says: “Mike’s particular expertise in inks and anilox rolls gives him the ability to help a customer select the best doctor blade material for their application. Helping printers to be their best is something Mike loves to do.”
Sharkey adds that the new position was made necessary by increasing demand for the company’s new MFlex Plus material.
